- Often people failed to take a real stance (what's your opinion?)
- Some of your examples didn't match your explanations (choose evidence carefully)
- Many used I & my (never in a formal essay)
- Most people approached it literally but Picasso was speaking figuratively (so you are using the wrong language/logic to discuss it)
- There were some overly strong statements, e.g. 'Shakespeare was not original.' (strong statements make you look over emotional and thus, not objective)
